Barry Burke (Tyler Labine) is a young man, and really inappropriate in social situations. His friends are now married and are embarrassed to have Barry around. His friends Rafe (Hayes MacArthur), Kurt (Thomas Middleditch), Desmond (Damon Wayans, Jr.). At Rafe's father funeral, Barry gives a eulogy which includes how Rafe's father took them all to a pornographic flick in 6th grade and Kurt masturbated for the first time. Then how in the 7th grade how he taught all of them to smoke weed. Then finally he also reveals that while alive Rafe's dad was cheating on his wife.Barry wants Kurt to break up with his overbearing & controlling girlfriend. So, Barry meets Melanie Miller (Lucy Punch) at the restaurant when Melanie was left alone when his date ran away with Barry's date as Melanie was being inappropriate. It's not long before Barry and Melanie discover that they are perfect for each other and equally inappropriate.They start going on dates and at first their friends try really hard to stop them from being inappropriate to each other, but soon give up realizing that there is no stopping them. The friends start having better sex lives of their own when Barry starts dating Melanie. Barry and Melanie are not having sex with each other as Melanie has a vaginal yeast infection. The gang invites Melanie and Barry to a couple vacation, thinking that Barry will behave better now that he has a girlfriend. But to their horror, Melanie is worse, far worse than Barry ever was.This time Kurt invites everyone to his lodge out in the woods, and Barry and Melanie end up burning it down when they have sex with candles lit all around them. This puts everyone over the edge. Kurt blasts Barry and is joined by Desmond and Rafe who tell Barry that they don't want to be friends with him anymore. Barry is dejected and blames Melanie for his failed friendship. Melanie is hurt and dumps Barry.Kurt realizes that Barry was right all along, and that Camille was only using him. So, he dumps her. Desmond realizes that Barry was right and that he works way too hard, and hence his sex life sucks. He decides to strive for more work life balance, which works. The guys get together with Barry and apologize to him. and they are all back friends together again. Barry decides to get back together with Melanie and apologizes to her in a really romantic yet inappropriate way. They get back together and eventually get married.
